Rejection letter to a female artist from Disney:
Women do not do any of the creative work in connection with preparing the cartoons for the screen, as that work is performed entirely by young men. For this reason girls are not consired for the training school.

America has come a long way since this was written, but we have so much further to go. Just a little blast from the past to think about.
